地球化学专业培养方案

专业名称与代码:地球化学070602

专业培养目标:本专业培养适应社会主义市场经济需要的德、智、体全面发展的地球化学、环境地球化学高级专门人才。毕业生具有扎实的基础理论、坚实的专业、计算机、外语等实用技能,较强的创新意识和创造能力及良好的科学作风,以适应21世纪地球科学发展和国家在资源、环境、灾害、国土规划以及国民经济其它相关领域对地球化学人才的需要。

专业培养要求:

1.具有扎实的数学、物理学、化学、地球科学和环境科学的理论基础知识;掌握物质成分分析测试技术及基本的地球科学实验和鉴定技术及野外工作技能,具备从事地球化学、环境地球化学理论和应用研究、分析实验、数据处理等工作的基本能力;具有一定的人文科学和管理科学知识和能力。

2.具有计算机软、硬件的基础知识,能熟练使用计算机进行文字和图形处理、数据处理等,并应用于地球化学、环境地球化学研究。掌握一门以上计算机语言的编程技术。

3.掌握一门外语,具有较熟练地外语阅读、听、说及翻译的能力,达到能独立获取信息的水平。

毕业生应获得以下几方面的知识和能力:

1.具有较坚实的数、理、化、外语、计算机基础;

2.掌握基础地质的基本理论、技能和工作方法;

3.掌握地球化学、应用地球化学、环境地球化学的基本理论和工作方法;

4.具有从事地球化学研究的初步能力;

5.具有从事环境科学、资源开发方面的能力;

6.具有对地学及相关信息处理、成果解释和应用的初步能力;

7.具有良好的心理素质、善于合作的精神及一定的管理能力。

主干学科:地球化学;地质学;环境科学。

主要课程:普通地质学、结晶学及矿物学、岩石学、构造地质学、地球化学、资源地质学、有机化学、环境科学概论、勘查地球化学、环境化学、现代仪器分析、多元统计分析。

主要专业实验:黄石应用地球化学(找矿、环境、农业地球化学)实习;地球化学样品分析实验。

主要实践性教学环节:根据本专业的培养目标与基本要求,为了提高学生的实践能力与技能,培养学生综合分析问题的能力,主要设置了以下实践环节;地质认识实习、教学实习三次、毕业生产实习、毕业论文。

学制:本科四年。

授予学位:理学学士。

Undergraduate Programme in Geochemistry

Program Name and Code:Geochemistry 070602

Training Objectives:Our department trains the students to be advanced professional talents who have all around development of moral, intellectual geochemistry and physical, and also are good at geochemistry environmental geochemistry.So they should lay a firm foundation on their major, computer and foreign language. They also should have a consciousness of innovation, the ability of creativity and excellent scientific manner, in order to meet the development of earth sciences and the need of country in 21st contrary, esp in the fields of resource, environment, and planning and other fields related with market economy.

Training Requirements:

1.They should have a solid foundation on mathematics, physics, chemistry, earth sciences and environmental sciences. At the same time, they should master the skills on analyzing of composition and simple experiment of earth sciences, identifying minerals as well as field work. They should have an ability of dealing with geochemistry, environmental geochemistry theory and application research work including experimental work and data processes. They should have a certain extent ability on social science and administration.

2.They should have the knowledge of computer sciences, can deal with data of geochemistry and environmental geochemistry by computer expertly. They should grasp more than one kind high-grade computer language.

3.The undergraduate should master a foreign language and can read, listen, speak and write fluently with English or other language.

Required Knowledge and Ability:

1.To lay a foundation on Mathematics, physics, chemistry, foreign language and computer courses.

2.To master basic theory, skill and method for basal geology.

3.To hold the basic theory and method of geochemistry, applied geochemistry and environmental geochemistry.

4.To have a primary ability of dealing with simple research in the field of geochemistry.

5.To have an ability of dealing with environmental sciences and resources works.

6.To have a primary ability that can process and apply the information of earth sciences and correlative information.

7.To have a good mental state, be good at work together with others and administering ability.

Major Subjects:Geochemistry, geology and environmental sciences are key disciplines for geochemistry major.

Main Courses:Physical geology, Crystallography and mineralogy, Petrology, Structural geology, Geochemistry, Resource geology, Organic chemistry, Introduction of environmental sciences,Exploration Geochemistry, Environmental chemistry, Modern instrumental analysis and Multivariate statistical analysis are major courses for the undergraduates of geochemistry major.

Main Professional Experiments:Huangshi applied Geochemistry practice (Exploration of geochemistry, environmental Geochemistry and agricultural Geochemistry);instrumental analysis tests.

Main Field Courses:practices on Physical Geology, Structural Geology and Geochemistry; graduate practices and dissertation writing.

Duration of the Program:four years.
